Kindly note that we do not rent out our premises for external wedding requests. We only conduct weddings for members of our own Cathedral community as well as members of the wider Anglican community.

Please also note that we are only able to solemnise a marriage in which both persons to be married are believing, baptised Christians.
And also note that we are not able to solemnise a marriage of a previously married person who has been separated by divorce from a husband or wife who is alive. If we cannot offer the solemnisation of marriage at St Mary's Cathedral due to the above we would still love to extend pastoral care to you. We are keen to talk to you further about these matters if you are willing to explore these issues with us.
